What is the Advanced Learner Loan?

The Advanced Learner Loan is a government-funded loan specifically designed to make further education accessible for learners aged 19 and over. This loan covers the tuition fees for approved Level 3 and 4 courses, allowing you to enhance your skills and qualifications without paying out of pocket.

Who is Eligible?

To apply for the Advanced Learner Loan, you must:

Be aged 19 or older on the first day of your course.
Be a UK resident.
Enrol in one of our eligible VTCT Level 3 or Level 4 courses in beauty or aesthetics.

How Repayment Works

Repayment is designed to be manageable, and you’ll only start paying it back once your income exceeds the current threshold of £27,295 per year. Repayments are automatically deducted from your salary, just like a traditional student loan. If your income dips below the threshold, repayments are paused, making this a flexible and affordable way to fund your education.
