Training Academy Model Terms & Conditions

This page sets out the terms and conditions for applying to be a model at Boon Aesthetics Training Academy. By submitting your application, you acknowledge and agree to these terms and conditions:

Treatment Fees

Please note that the treatment you’ll receive as a model will be offered at a discounted rate as part of our training programme. However, it’s important to understand that no additional payments or compensation will be provided to the models. The purpose of these model appointments is to facilitate the training of our students, and the reduced rate is reflective of this arrangement.

Prior Payment & Appointment Reservation

Prior to booking your appointment, full payment is required for the treatment. This payment reserves an appointment on your chosen date and time. It ensures model appointments for paying students attending the course.

Refunds & Transfers

All model appointment fees are non-refundable and non-transferable. Once an appointment is booked and the balance is paid, a specific date and time will be allocated to you during our training course for student case studies.

Force Majeure

Boon Aesthetics Training Academy is unable to offer refunds for cancellations due to circumstances beyond our control, such as adverse weather conditions, terrorist attacks, flooding, or industrial action. In such cases, an alternative appointment date will be offered.

COVID-19 Related Cancellations

If you are unable to attend your appointment due to the need for COVID-19 testing or self-isolation, we offer free rescheduling upon presentation of an official NHS text or email notification confirming a booked test, positive test result, or NHS Test & Trace notification of required self-isolation. Appointments remain non-refundable, but rescheduling to the next available date is possible once you are free from symptoms or isolation.

Cancellation Policy

Boon Aesthetics Training Academy must be notified of any cancellation for any reason at least 48 hours prior to the appointment time and date. This allows us to recover the appointment slot for our students’ training. Cancellations within the 48-hour period may result in the loss of full appointment fees.

Transfer Requests

If you have a genuine reason for cancellation and notify us of a confirmed appointment date prior to the appointment time, a transfer request will be considered at the discretion of Boon Aesthetics Academy, subject to availability. If approved, an administration fee of £25.00 per appointment will be charged. Non-attendance without prior notice will be handled at our discretion and may result in the loss of full appointment fees.

Medical & Compassionate Circumstances

If you’re unable to attend a confirmed appointment due to medical reasons, a valid medical certificate covering your name and the appointment date will be required to waive the rescheduling fee. Under medical or compassionate circumstances, where immediate rescheduling may not be possible and proof is provided, the appointment payment may be held on file as a gesture of goodwill. Such appointments will be valid for student model appointments only and will remain valid for up to 6 months from the date of issue. After this period, appointment fees will be forfeited, and no refund will be issued.

Boon Aesthetics Training Academy Cancellations

In the event that Boon Aesthetics Training Academy needs to cancel the training course for which your appointment is confirmed, due to reasons beyond our control, we will make every effort to provide models with at least 24 hours’ notice. Such notifications will be sent via telephone and/or email. Please note that Boon Aesthetics Training Academy cannot be held responsible for any accommodation or travel costs that models may have already incurred in relation to the appointment.

Right to Refuse Treatment

We reserve the right to refuse treatment on the scheduled day if we determine that the model is not suitable for the specific procedure. Factors that might lead to refusal include situations where the model is deemed overfilled, has migrated lips, or presents other conditions that may impact the outcome of the procedure. Our primary concern is to ensure safe and effective treatments for both models and student practitioners.

Procedure Results & Disclaimers

It’s important to understand that model appointments are intended for students who are undergoing training and are not yet qualified in the specific procedures. We cannot guarantee the results of the procedure. By acknowledging and accepting our model terms and conditions, you agree that Boon Aesthetics Training Academy cannot be held responsible for the outcomes achieved following the procedure. All payments made for model appointments are non-refundable.

Emergency & Corrections

In the event of an emergency or if an urgent correction is required for health reasons, we recommend contacting us as soon as possible. This will ensure that the appropriate steps are taken to address any issues arising from the procedure. If the correction is not health-related, we will arrange a new appointment for you with one of our trained practitioners. Please note that a full additional treatment price will apply in such cases.

Arrival & Late Policy

For a smooth process, please arrive at the training academy 15 minutes before your scheduled appointment time. This allows us to complete any necessary anaesthetics or consultations before your appointment. Keep in mind that the duration of your scheduled appointment may vary due to the involvement of students in the treatment process. If you arrive more than 10 minutes later than your confirmed appointment time, you may be refused entry to the appointment. This policy is in place to minimise disruptions for students participating in the course.

In the event that you are late arriving in the morning and are refused entry, please contact our Bookings Team for assistance in rescheduling. You can reach us by emailing training@boonaesthetics.com. Please note that a fee of £25 will apply for rescheduling your appointment due to late arrival.

Travel Planning

Before your appointment day, make sure you allow sufficient time for travel. You can use Google Maps on your smartphone or print map/directions from our website to help you locate the clinic. Planning your journey in advance will ensure a smooth experience on the day of your appointment.

Photo & Media Release Consent

By participating as a model for Boon Aesthetics Training Academy, you acknowledge and agree that you grant permission for any photos or videos taken of you before, during or after procedures and/or aesthetic services to be used for educational and promotional purposes. This includes print, visual, and electronic media for teaching, training, marketing and advertising, including but not limited to our website, social media and printed collateral.

You acknowledge that you will not receive compensation for the use of these media assets and that they may be modified, edited, or combined with other materials as needed.

Consent & Agreement

By submitting your model application, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to the above terms and conditions. These terms and conditions form a binding agreement between you and Boon Aesthetics Training Academy.
