What's included in the IV Drips Course at Boon Aesthetics Training Academy?
To enrol, you must have completed:
- Advanced Dermal Fillers or Advanced Anti-Wrinkle, and
- Phlebotomy
Theory Modules:
- The science behind IV Vitamin Therapy
- Common nutrients used (e.g. B12, Vitamin C, Glutathione, electrolytes, saline)
- Understanding nutrient deficiencies and their symptoms
- Applications for fatigue, dehydration, skin health, brain fog and more
- Anatomy & physiology: veins, circulation, and IV access
- Contraindications, potential risks, and managing complications
- Hygiene, infection control and health & safety
- Consultation protocols and treatment planning
- Designing bespoke treatment packages
Practical Training:
- Live demonstrations from expert educators
- Supervised hands-on IV insertion practice on models
- Equipment selection and preparation
- Identifying safe access points
- Administering IV nutrients using correct techniques
- Aftercare guidance and post-treatment support
- Duration: 1 Day
- Timings: 10am – 4pm
