VTCT Level 2 Facial & Skin Care

Our vocational qualification runs one day a week for 10 weeks, covering all the essentials to work effectively in facial and skin care. You’ll dive into:

• Anatomy & Physiology: Learn about the skin, face, scalp, and neck to support your practical skills.
• Skin Theory: Understand the fundamental theory of skin, including skin types and conditions.
• Skin Analysis: Develop the ability to analyse different skin types and conditions effectively.
• Cleansing, Toning, and Moisturising: Master the basics of maintaining skin health through proper cleansing, toning, and moisturising techniques.
• Steaming and Extraction: Learn how to safely steam the face and perform extractions.
• Full Facial Massage: Gain skills in providing a complete facial massage routine.
• Tailor-Made Face Masques: Learn to select, mix, and apply custom face masques based on skin analysis.
• Client Consultation Techniques: Understand how to conduct thorough and professional client consultations to tailor treatments to individual needs.

Completing this Level 2 course includes undertaking e-learning tasks and a written assignment for each of the three core units of study: Facial Massage & Skincare, Health, Safety & Hygiene of the Workplace, and Client Care, Communication & Salon Reception Duties. After completing the e-learning and written assignments, you will complete a final online examination.

VTCT Level 3 Diploma in Beauty Therapy

Our vocational qualification runs one day a week for 16 weeks, covering all the essentials to work effectively as a beauty therapist. You’ll dive into:

• Facial Electrotherapy: Master advanced facial treatments using electrical modalities.
• Indian Head Massage: Learn techniques to alleviate stress and promote relaxation.
• Hot Stone Massage: Get skilled in this popular therapeutic massage with heated stones.
• Body Massage: Develop your ability to deliver full-body relaxation and remedial massages.
• Pre-Blended Aromatherapy Massage: Understand how to use essential oils to enhance treatments.
• Anatomy and Physiology: Gain in-depth knowledge of the human body to support your practical skills.
• Health and Safety in the Salon: Ensure you’re up to date with essential health and safety practices.
• Consultation and Promotion of Products/Treatments: Learn to communicate effectively and promote services.

Completing this Level 3 course includes undertaking practical assessments, building a professional portfolio, participating in e-learning modules, and passing written examinations to demonstrate your knowledge and skills.

VTCT Level 2 Facial & Skin Care

Our Level 2 Facial & Skincare course begins on September 2nd, 2024, with training taking place every Monday for 10 weeks, ending on November 4th, 2024.

VTCT Level 3 Diploma in Beauty Therapy

Our Level 3 Beauty Therapy course is split into two cohorts to provide you with flexibility in choosing a suitable day of the week to fit your schedule.

• Cohort 1: Starts on August 27th, 2024, every Tuesday for 16 weeks, finishing on December 10th, 2024. 
• Cohort 2: Starts on August 30th, 2024, every Friday for 16 weeks, ending on December 13th, 2024. 

VTCT Level 2 Facial & Skin Care
