Fade Dark Spots & Balance Tone with

Alma Harmony: Pigmentation

Brighter, Clearer, More Even Skin

Targeting Sun Damage, Dark Spots & Pigmentation

Sun damage that’s accumulated over years, stubborn dark spots from old breakouts, patches of uneven tone that even your best concealer can’t hide – pigmentation is one of the most frustrating concerns to tackle. Brightening serums and vitamin C can help at the surface, but they can’t break down the excess melanin sitting deeper in your skin where the problem actually lives.

Alma Harmony’s Iris VL Corrective uses advanced narrowband IPL technology to target pigmentation with precision. The light energy penetrates your skin, breaking down melanin clusters in the targeted areas while leaving surrounding tissue completely untouched. Over the following days and weeks, the pigment naturally rises to the surface and flakes away, revealing clearer, more even-toned skin underneath.

Whether you’re dealing with sun spots, post-inflammatory marks from acne, or general unevenness, we’ll create a treatment plan tailored to your specific pigmentation concerns. The goal? A balanced, radiant complexion you don’t need to cover up anymore.

Alma Harmony Pigmentation Treatment FAQs

Your Questions, Answered

What types of pigmentation can Iris VL Corrective treat?
Iris VL Corrective is effective across a range of pigmentation concerns, including sun spots and age spots, post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation left behind by acne or breakouts, general uneven skin tone, and areas of sun damage. During your consultation we will assess your pigmentation type and skin tone to confirm suitability and tailor the treatment settings accordingly.
Iris VL Corrective uses precisely targeted wavelengths of intense pulsed light to seek out areas of excess melanin in the skin. The light energy is absorbed by the pigment, which breaks it down and allows the body to naturally clear it over the following days and weeks. You may notice the treated area appearing slightly darker immediately after the session before it fades – this is a completely normal and expected part of the process.
Most clients see meaningful improvement within 2-4 sessions, though the exact number depends on the depth, type, and extent of your pigmentation. Superficial sun spots often respond quickly, while deeper or more stubborn pigmentation may require additional sessions. We will give you a realistic expectation of your treatment course during your consultation and review your progress as we go.
Laser and light-based treatments can produce long-lasting results, but pigmentation can return with UV exposure – so daily SPF is essential both during and after your treatment course. We will advise you on the right aftercare and maintenance approach to help protect your results for as long as possible. Some clients also choose periodic maintenance sessions to keep their skin looking its best.
The Alma Harmony platform is designed to treat a wide range of skin tones safely. That said, pigmentation treatments do require careful assessment for medium to darker skin tones, as certain wavelengths need to be adjusted to avoid affecting the surrounding skin. We will always carry out a thorough consultation and, where appropriate, a patch test before proceeding to ensure the treatment is safe and effective for your skin specifically.
