What's included in the VTCT Level 4 Skin Microneedling Course at Boon Aesthetics Training Academy?
- All students must be aged 18 or over
- You must have a good understanding of basic English to follow the classwork and coursework effectively
- Completion of an NVQ Level 3 qualification in Beauty Therapy or equivalent, or a Level 2 or 3 in Skincare/Facials and a Level 3 in Anatomy & Physiology
Our vocational qualification runs over three days with a combination of home study and practical training days, covering everything you need to become a skilled skin needling therapist. You’ll dive into:
- Principles and Practice of Cosmetic Skin Needling: Master the fundamentals and application of microneedling techniques.
- Advanced Consultation Techniques: Learn to conduct thorough consultations, including contraindications, possible reactions, and patch testing.
- Advanced Skincare Protocols: Develop protocols for pre- and post-treatment skincare to ensure optimal results and client safety.
- Providing Cosmetic Skin Needling Treatments: Gain hands-on experience with live models, refining your skills in a controlled environment.
Completing this Level 4 course includes undertaking practical assessments, building a portfolio of evidence including written assignments and six case studies, participating in e-learning modules, and passing external theory and practical examinations to demonstrate your expertise.
Our Level 4 Skin Microneedling course takes place over three days, with theory on the first day and practical on the remaining two days. Our upcoming dates are:

- November 20th-22nd, 2024.
